'Fatal Frame IV:Mask of the Lunar Eclipse' leakage

Ever since 'Fatal Frame IV:Mask of the Lunar Eclipse' was released in Japan for the WII many have been eager to wait for the release date for the horror-survival game in US or in UK, but unfortunately their hopes went crashing down after the announcement that it will never get released in United States and in Europe. After through my surfing around the internet and facebook, I've received a mail from one of the members of the Fatal Frame group that the members in one of the Fatal Frame website called "Camera Lens" are working on a patch to allow all US and UK fans to play the Japanese version of Fatal Frame IV. Although you must have to buy the game then download the patch onto a SD card; the Patch will help translate the game and make the game easy to understand. *Sigh* I really wish my parents bought me a WII instead of a pen tablet -.-

I'll say goodbye to 16 and hello to 17 *sobs*

I have officially turned seventeen years old today...and I'm not liking the way I'm taken out of my own comfort zone and toss dramatically into the world of becoming mature. I'll be missing the number '16' since a lot of things happen on the number 16 :)
  • July 16, '08: 'single' turns to 'taken'
  • July 16, '09: one year anniv. in a retreat house -.-
  • Sept. 6, '92: 6: 16 am I'm out of mom's womb :)
  • Everyday: I wake up 9:16 in the morning
  • Sept. 6, '09: When I woke up I had already 16 text messages waiting for me :)
  • June 16, '09: First day of college (as a sophmore)
  • Sept. 6, '08: Turn 16 (duh!) xD

Well I know there are more than those seven reasons, so that list will grow very soon :) Although I do dispise my birthday due to loosing money, and becoming the spotlight of the day *roar*; and talk about me becoming camera shy since my dad usually takes out his video cam to record the day...okay many people would think "why the hell would Brendy would become camera shy when she's usually underneath a professional video camera for a freakin music video?" well the truth is my friends, my parents don't know that I'm always under one...and I would be freaken dead if they found out...they just know me as a quiet girl.

How can Yaoi at school turn me off?

Image taken from www.darkmirage.com

I, a yaoi lover, has started to take a toll on me -.- this logic class I was trying to focus on the lecture going on but I end up failing as one of my boy classmates started to flirt with my boyfriend (well not literally flirt...he was just trying to make me jealous -.-) who is trying to get rid of the boy's wandering arms and then grabbing mines then yanking me away from my comfy desk table with bunches of 'Ohmyeffinggod!' notes and towards him...seriously I haven't understand anything from the class due to the yanking and pulling of my boyfriend, while he tries taking off our classmates wandering arms...seriously I would still be pleased about the yaoi sorta scenerio going on and hell I wouldn't really care about the boy's attitude since almost many people I known always try to make me jealous, but somehow ends up failing...but seriously how the hell i'm going to study if this crap goes on... -.- and somehow I don't get how my boyfriend was able to understand the lesson when our classmate was the one disturbing him... boys...I just don't get them at all...well maybe a bit :))

'Only You' ripped Dead Fantasy?

'Only You' was a Filipino Soap Opera which ended just last night, it was a remake of a Asiannovelas. I, a deviantart addict, have came across one of Monty Oum's blog post which was titled as 'Whaaaaat!' (well usually I always read his blogs because his blog entries are very very interesting to read) Well inside the latest blog I've checked on, it had a link to a Youtube site which contains a intro about polar bears which was very awkward and weird to watch then what shock me next was that I saw an 'Only You' episode appeared...well at first I thought why would Monty Oum be so...happy of watching a Filipino Soap Opera, until I saw the Dead Fantasy IV scene where the boy name Pogi(meaning in Tagalog 'Handsome' 0.0) was smashing the freaking PS2 buttons of the controller, it made me laugh at first...although it pissed me off that the producer or director or who ever in charge of the Show did not ask permission from Monty...well since Monty Oum is a bit laid back, so meaning to say he didn't really care at all. Well it isn't the first time this ever happen in Filipino TV, I'm serious. Sometimes in News Entertainment in some of the Filipino broadcasting channel would use any Final Fantasy or any Anime music in the background...and I'm a bit embarassed since I am a Filipino...

The filipino here doesn't really care about copyright infrigement, and somewhat I think the government isn't doing anything to stop it...For those huge companies or producers who have been a victim to these shows (seriously why would a producer should pass through here) I in behalf of the filipinos apologize for their acts...

Just Be Meltdown (Meltdown and Just be friends Remix)

I was very shocked at first when I came across 'Just Be Meltdown' by Rin Kagamine and Megurine Luka; at first I thought the song was going to be a duet with Rin and Luka for Meltdown, but it ends up to be a remix and mixture of the two songs of Meltdown (Rin) and Just Be Friends (Luka). At first when I listen to it, I wasn't yet hooked to the sound of the mixture during the beginning where Meltdown started with a low volume compare to the high volume for Just Be Friends; I decided to use my headphones to hear the whole song without any outside noises bothering me, and all I can say the song rocks my socks off...the lyrics of both songs were very comfortable with the tone of the music of the other. Rin had more singing time than Luka which pleased me while Just be Friends had more background music than Meltdown, but then with Luka's a bit edited voice which seems like she's rapping in the background completely made me in love with her voice...and now I can say I'm a bit of a Luka fan now...I think Luka needs more love doesn't she?

Fatal Frame Fanfic preview

I am a fanfic writer...mostly all my stories consist of Final Fantasy 7, based on Cloud and Tifa...but usually they are based around Tifa. Anyway I wanted to place a preview of my Fatal Frame fanfic...the title is currently unknown to be...so I'm really hoping to see comments or something...well please don't kill me...it's only 3/4ths done...

Mahogany eyes looked around his surroundings; he gave a soft grunt as he flop himself down on the ground. Arms wrapped loosely around his neck, he bend forward a bit as he allowed the weight of the person to rest upon him; a soft sigh was heard.

“It’s weird to see you get troubled with your thoughts.” A feminine voice said.

“Hmm? What are you talking about?” The boy said innocently as he gripped the female’s arm.

“Don’t lie to me Akira; I know when you’re troubled.” The girl stated as she unwrap her arms from his neck and stood in front of him.

“Don’t worry about me…I’ll be fine.” He said quietly.

The girl gave a shrug and walk towards a stone hedge with weird markings; her fingers brushed against the small engravings of the stone…fascinated with the strange symbols. The girl’s eyes diverted toward a crimson colored butterfly; she stood up from her crouching position and watch the butterfly moved towards her.

Akira heard the soft crunches of leaves behind him signaling him that his girlfriend was starting to wander away from the area.

“Marri?” He called her name yet no reply came.

He called her name several times, each time he called her name it became more demanding with a hint of worry in his voice. He looked behind him, like he had suspected…Marri wasn’t around.

“Shit…” With that he got up from his sitting position and followed the small trail of crunched up leaves Marri left earlier; as he passed the stone hedge that his girlfriend had examined earlier; everything turn dark, the trees seemed to cluster together around him as he came to a halt. He felt chills running up his spine, as he watches the eerie phenomenon.

“Marri!” He called out again, his voice becoming desperate to finding the girl he care about; it wasn’t like her to not respond or ignore his cries.

He darted forward as he build up a small amount of courage to finding his girlfriend, he isn’t going to stop searching for her until he finds her unless he lost hope in ever finding Marri. He trudge through the woods finding a way or a sign that Marri had pass by, he pause for a moment…he could sense that someone or something was watching his every move, his eyes darted in every direction trying to find a sign of life.

“Hello? Is anybody there?” He asked as he crossed his arms.

He was greeted by dead silence.

“Look if you’re a person, I need help. I need to find my girlfriend and take us out of this place. I need to know if you have seen a girl with black hair, almond-shaped brown eyes, and have pale skin.”

A woman with white kimono appeared in front of him, both her hands clutching each side of his shoulders.

“Ryozo…you came. You said you would love me, and only me not anyone else…why did you break your vow?”

Akira stared at the woman, his eyes widening at the creepy sensation filling him as the woman started leaning in. On instinct his feet kicked the ground and started dashing off the other direction, he needed to get Marri and leave the place as soon as possible.

“Ryozo come back! Don’t leave me! Please!” The woman’s voice pleaded.

He didn’t look back; he kept running until he reached a small shrine area which seems to be an entrance to a certain village.

“Marri?” Akira hollered her name as he walked through the entrance.

He felt his foot nearly crushed something as he started to trudge forward towards the village; he examined the object, it was an old fashioned camera with a small manual book next to it. As soon as he touched the camera a memory was forced into his mind.

A man was holding the same camera in his hands

“This is called the camera obscura, it can take pictures of restless spirits and sealed them in a photograph.” The man said as he looked into the viewfinder of the camera obscura and aimed the camera towards a coffin with a pair of arms rising from it.

The man pressed the trigger as the arm came close to his face, a small grunt of pain came from the spirit as a flash was seen and turn to a white ball then exploded into small white particles. The picture of the spirit came out of the camera’s picture slot.

“This camera is too powerful. I must hide this so no one should tamper it.”

Akira gave a small nervous laugh as the flashback ended; instead of grabbing the camera obscura he grabbed the camera’s manual.

“The camera obscura can capture and seal restless spirits. To capture the spirit just point the camera towards the spirit and pressed the trigger button; the spirit won’t automatically be captured until it gives up or if it is weakened. The camera is equipped with 7-film; it is the weakest film to be used on spirits but yet it never runs out. There are powerful films that can be equipped on the camera obscura; Zero-film is the highest, powerful, yet rarest film to be found.” He read out loud.

Akira hesitated for a while before hesitantly picking up the camera obscura, he hopes that the camera comes in handy and did not play a sick joke that played through his mind earlier. He darted forward again as he entered the village.

“Marri I’m coming for you.” He said quietly and journeyed inside the village.

The butterfly flew inside an old abandon house with Marri trailing behind it. The girl seems to be in a trance as she followed the butterfly, she started to gain conscious as the butterfly came out of her sight.

“Where am I?” She asked herself as she looked around.

“Akira? Where are you?” She asked loudly as she twirled around.

Her eyes widen as she saw a skeleton coated with dry blood hanging from the ceiling, she felt her legs weakened and then her behind crashing onto the floor. Her eyes started to water; she has a huge phobia of skeletons for no apparent reason.

“This is all a dream…” The girl mumbled as she started to loose conscious.

Before her vision became pitch black, a small laugher was heard as a white figure walked towards her.

He entered the closest house; the house had many bookshelves filled with old books and a desk cluttered with papers. He walked towards the desk and picked up the flashlight next to a notebook that has the words “Diary of Hatsune Brianne: Do not read.” His ear perks up at the sound of soft footsteps behind the hallway’s curtain entrance.

“Sorry if I’m intruding, I need to find Marri then we will leave.” Akira said softly as the footsteps ceased.

He took hold of the diary on top of the desk and flipped it opened.

“Dear Diary,Yae met Ryozo today, a researcher who stumble to town, she seems to be having a small crush on the researcher, since she couldn’t stop talking about him. I feel so neglected when she starts talking to him, like I’m not even there. But her first priority is that she wants to escape this village before the Crimson Ritual that is going to start next month, since she and Sae are chosen to do the ritual. I can’t believe their father would let his daughter push through the ceremony just for the sake of the village, I guess since he is the ceremony master many people look up to him

Okay that's where the 3/4's end...sorry...but if anyone wants to criticize or say something please do so...but please to those who wants to criticize please do it in a nice way...I mean...not very painful to hear...thank you!

Dead Fantasy III

...ugh! I'm so freaking tired from the retreat! I stayed up one o'clock in the morning talking with my roommates and woke up around five to take a shower! Anyway let's get on with my review with 'Dead Fantasy III'.

Dead Fantasy III is based on Tifa's and Hitomi's *cough*"Friendly"*cough* sparring. It was originally suppose to be Rikku's and Ayane's battle but then Monty has announced that the battle between Ayane and Rikku was moved to DFVI and that Tifa and Hitomi's battle shall be the one to replace DFIII. Well I was able to watch 'Dead Fantasy III's' preview from last two months ago, and all I can say is that nothing pretty much change from what Monty has shown us but just some small intsy-bitsy new scenes that you can't really tell the difference between new and old scenes(from my POV) . I was a bit disappointed that it didn't come out as epic as DFII *sigh*.

Seriously I'm still shock in seeing Tifa bleed at the end of the mini movie...even though I'm a Tifa supporter, I think it was right that her materia's got knocked off since it wasn't a fair fight for Hitomi...but seeing her get beat up to a bloody pulp...I pity her :/

Monty Oum gave his infamous "Not the end" statement at the end of the mini movie, just like the one he shown in Dead Fantasy 5's preview. So will be seeing a new Tifa fight in DFV, this time...her against Hayate and his army of ninja's (things are going to get brutal very soon).

Soon I shall be writing a review for DFIV; a fight between Yuna (FFX-X2) and Kasumi (DOA) and a small appearance of Cloud Strife. (FFVII) Until Next time...See Ya! :D

Chou(butterfly) by Tsukiko Amano/ Fatal Frame 2: End OST

I played only the beginning of 'Fatal Frame 2: The Crimson Butterfly' then stop due to fright in playing horror games and watching horror movies as well. And to tell you the truth, when I first played the game, I had built up a small courage of facing my fears...well my courage just faded after watching a cutscene in stage one and...more likely the constant vibration of the damn controller. So me and my friend switched the game to Kingdom Hearts...yay -.-!

Now you guys must be wondering how did I heard the ending theme of Fatal Frame 2. Here's the answer...I built enough courage to watch Fatal Frame 2 on youtube...haha pathetic as you say...I still have no guts to play the freaking game and I hope someday I will...the walkthrough that I was watching had a small intro video and it played 'Chou' as the intro music which I immensely fell in love with...and yada yada all became history *gets shot*.

'Chou' has a beautiful beginning and verse, and I love the smooth transition between the gentle melody of spine chilling violins to rock; near the ending.

English Lyrics:
I kept digging a hole underground
Without knowing where the hole would go on to
With a spade wet with dirt in one hand,
I searched for your arm

While I scraped together and scattered my patched-up happiness
I was crushed by your strength

The burning
The burning
Imprint of a palm that won't come unstuck
Cut between the clouds stained red by my riven wings
And find me flapping them skillfully

Where will the eternity I drew confined in a cocoon
Bud and blossom, I wonder?
At last, the morning will bring back the dark night
And steal away my sight

I believed
By my fumbling, the moonlight would overlap and tangle
And thus could become the place where you are

The igniting
The igniting
Promised place that won't come back
Run through the earth stained black by my riven pain
And find me flapping my wings skillfully

If you cannot hear me even if I scream,
I want you to break me with your own hands
While I can still call myself
Your arms, which caught me, changed into calm dust
And I just quietly
Gazed up at the heavens

The burning
The burning
Imprint of a palm that won't come unstuck
Cut between the clouds tinged red by my riven wings

The igniting
The igniting
Promised place that won't come back
And find me flapping them skillfully

PS...I think I got hit by another plot bunny :))

'Dissidia Final Fantasy'

I'm already near the end of finishing the game...with the help of...my friend -.- (thanks if ever you're reading.) And now I shall give a small review of the game.

I loved Dissidia's battle system, it's almost like playing 'Kingdom Hearts', where you're able to move your character all around the stage area playing a 'cat & mouse chase' with your enemy and then racing and trying to kill each other to obtain the bell-like object that will fill 'half' or 'fill up' your EX-gauge which let's you go on 'EX-Mode'.

EX-Mode helps you unleash your characters 'Limit Break' by pressing the 'square' button(final blow/special attack) and the attack should hit your enemy to do 'Limit break'.

Dissidia is a very difficult game...the key things to success to beating the game are luck, leveling up, your level should be more than 3 levels higher than your enemy(it's true...levels still play a minor role in the game, but you should see that attacking your enemy cause them to break more quickly if you're 3 levels higher than them), your weapons, rings(I'm not sure what they are... ex. Braver(something something in Japanese...that I cannot read!) No offense to those who are japanese, peace!), and skills.

There are different types of enemies in Dissidia; some are very easy to defeat, some are a bit annoying and also very hard to kill, some are just plain hard to kill, and there are many very impossible to kill(if ever you were able to time your 'square' attack right and penetrate it before it ever attacks you).

Suggestion: please avoid the tall enemies(that are optional to fight) unless you're really motivated to taking it down; also avoid the golden type enemies(another optional fight, unless a barrier didn't open), even though it can be KO'd with one blow with the special attack...trust me it is very hard to chase after if, especially if your character has the hard to hit HP attack...if you want to still confront it, use a character like "Warrior of Light" since all you can do is press the 'square' button and see that type of enemy get hit while trying to dodge the attack.

I rate this game 9 out of 10...due to the difficulty of the game.

Heavenly Blue

Heavenly Blue is one of my favorite Vocalrock songs sung by Miku Hatsune. I love the way the instruments blend into the song, especially the guitar intro. It's not your typical music that plays almost the same tune over and over again, the instruments play a slightly different tune through each theme of the song.

Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children Complete Review

Final Fantasy VII: ACC have came out on stores on April 16,'09(Japan) and June 2,'09(USA) only for blueray-disk. And I was able to watch the full movie somewhere on the internet.

If many people have thought FFVII:AC was epic, wait until they watch ACC the director's cut version. There are 30 minutes of new scenes and extended scenes in ACC, although there were some scenes and dialogue that have changed in the movie such as Cid's very epic grand entrance to the battle scene is gone and all he does is fall from the 'Shera' and runs off towards Bahamut SIN right away; and some dialogues that I thought were okay from AC became a bit not okay in ACC. Marlene and Denzel's Voice Actor(VA) have change since their original VA are now in their teenage years and their voices have matured too much to take the role of the two young children in ACC and I have to say that I'm not used to hearing the new VA's...especially when Denzel says "SON OF A BITCH!"

Although I loved how they place a more bigger role for Zack in ACC which balance him and Aerith's appearance in ACC. Not like before poor Zack had two...well actually I think three lines in the original, and was usually in the background while Aerith took almost all the credit.

We also can see more of the family relationship between Tifa, Cloud, Denzel, and Marlene. And I must agree that Cloud can be such a great dad, am I right?

Fight scenes are still the best especially when it comes down to the fight with Sephiroth, and also the downtown fight towards Midgar's ruins...where we get a bit of comedy relief with our favorite two turks, Reno and Rude.

I would rate this movie 8 out of 10 due to some minor changes on some scenes which I think should of stayed, and some dialogues that should have never changed!!!
