Dead Fantasy III

...ugh! I'm so freaking tired from the retreat! I stayed up one o'clock in the morning talking with my roommates and woke up around five to take a shower! Anyway let's get on with my review with 'Dead Fantasy III'.

Dead Fantasy III is based on Tifa's and Hitomi's *cough*"Friendly"*cough* sparring. It was originally suppose to be Rikku's and Ayane's battle but then Monty has announced that the battle between Ayane and Rikku was moved to DFVI and that Tifa and Hitomi's battle shall be the one to replace DFIII. Well I was able to watch 'Dead Fantasy III's' preview from last two months ago, and all I can say is that nothing pretty much change from what Monty has shown us but just some small intsy-bitsy new scenes that you can't really tell the difference between new and old scenes(from my POV) . I was a bit disappointed that it didn't come out as epic as DFII *sigh*.

Seriously I'm still shock in seeing Tifa bleed at the end of the mini movie...even though I'm a Tifa supporter, I think it was right that her materia's got knocked off since it wasn't a fair fight for Hitomi...but seeing her get beat up to a bloody pulp...I pity her :/

Monty Oum gave his infamous "Not the end" statement at the end of the mini movie, just like the one he shown in Dead Fantasy 5's preview. So will be seeing a new Tifa fight in DFV, this time...her against Hayate and his army of ninja's (things are going to get brutal very soon).

Soon I shall be writing a review for DFIV; a fight between Yuna (FFX-X2) and Kasumi (DOA) and a small appearance of Cloud Strife. (FFVII) Until Next time...See Ya! :D

Chou(butterfly) by Tsukiko Amano/ Fatal Frame 2: End OST

I played only the beginning of 'Fatal Frame 2: The Crimson Butterfly' then stop due to fright in playing horror games and watching horror movies as well. And to tell you the truth, when I first played the game, I had built up a small courage of facing my fears...well my courage just faded after watching a cutscene in stage one and...more likely the constant vibration of the damn controller. So me and my friend switched the game to Kingdom Hearts...yay -.-!

Now you guys must be wondering how did I heard the ending theme of Fatal Frame 2. Here's the answer...I built enough courage to watch Fatal Frame 2 on youtube...haha pathetic as you say...I still have no guts to play the freaking game and I hope someday I will...the walkthrough that I was watching had a small intro video and it played 'Chou' as the intro music which I immensely fell in love with...and yada yada all became history *gets shot*.

'Chou' has a beautiful beginning and verse, and I love the smooth transition between the gentle melody of spine chilling violins to rock; near the ending.

English Lyrics:
I kept digging a hole underground
Without knowing where the hole would go on to
With a spade wet with dirt in one hand,
I searched for your arm

While I scraped together and scattered my patched-up happiness
I was crushed by your strength

The burning
The burning
Imprint of a palm that won't come unstuck
Cut between the clouds stained red by my riven wings
And find me flapping them skillfully

Where will the eternity I drew confined in a cocoon
Bud and blossom, I wonder?
At last, the morning will bring back the dark night
And steal away my sight

I believed
By my fumbling, the moonlight would overlap and tangle
And thus could become the place where you are

The igniting
The igniting
Promised place that won't come back
Run through the earth stained black by my riven pain
And find me flapping my wings skillfully

If you cannot hear me even if I scream,
I want you to break me with your own hands
While I can still call myself
Your arms, which caught me, changed into calm dust
And I just quietly
Gazed up at the heavens

The burning
The burning
Imprint of a palm that won't come unstuck
Cut between the clouds tinged red by my riven wings

The igniting
The igniting
Promised place that won't come back
And find me flapping them skillfully

PS...I think I got hit by another plot bunny :))

'Dissidia Final Fantasy'

I'm already near the end of finishing the game...with the help of...my friend -.- (thanks if ever you're reading.) And now I shall give a small review of the game.

I loved Dissidia's battle system, it's almost like playing 'Kingdom Hearts', where you're able to move your character all around the stage area playing a 'cat & mouse chase' with your enemy and then racing and trying to kill each other to obtain the bell-like object that will fill 'half' or 'fill up' your EX-gauge which let's you go on 'EX-Mode'.

EX-Mode helps you unleash your characters 'Limit Break' by pressing the 'square' button(final blow/special attack) and the attack should hit your enemy to do 'Limit break'.

Dissidia is a very difficult game...the key things to success to beating the game are luck, leveling up, your level should be more than 3 levels higher than your enemy(it's true...levels still play a minor role in the game, but you should see that attacking your enemy cause them to break more quickly if you're 3 levels higher than them), your weapons, rings(I'm not sure what they are... ex. Braver(something something in Japanese...that I cannot read!) No offense to those who are japanese, peace!), and skills.

There are different types of enemies in Dissidia; some are very easy to defeat, some are a bit annoying and also very hard to kill, some are just plain hard to kill, and there are many very impossible to kill(if ever you were able to time your 'square' attack right and penetrate it before it ever attacks you).

Suggestion: please avoid the tall enemies(that are optional to fight) unless you're really motivated to taking it down; also avoid the golden type enemies(another optional fight, unless a barrier didn't open), even though it can be KO'd with one blow with the special attack...trust me it is very hard to chase after if, especially if your character has the hard to hit HP attack...if you want to still confront it, use a character like "Warrior of Light" since all you can do is press the 'square' button and see that type of enemy get hit while trying to dodge the attack.

I rate this game 9 out of 10...due to the difficulty of the game.

Heavenly Blue

Heavenly Blue is one of my favorite Vocalrock songs sung by Miku Hatsune. I love the way the instruments blend into the song, especially the guitar intro. It's not your typical music that plays almost the same tune over and over again, the instruments play a slightly different tune through each theme of the song.

Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children Complete Review

Final Fantasy VII: ACC have came out on stores on April 16,'09(Japan) and June 2,'09(USA) only for blueray-disk. And I was able to watch the full movie somewhere on the internet.

If many people have thought FFVII:AC was epic, wait until they watch ACC the director's cut version. There are 30 minutes of new scenes and extended scenes in ACC, although there were some scenes and dialogue that have changed in the movie such as Cid's very epic grand entrance to the battle scene is gone and all he does is fall from the 'Shera' and runs off towards Bahamut SIN right away; and some dialogues that I thought were okay from AC became a bit not okay in ACC. Marlene and Denzel's Voice Actor(VA) have change since their original VA are now in their teenage years and their voices have matured too much to take the role of the two young children in ACC and I have to say that I'm not used to hearing the new VA's...especially when Denzel says "SON OF A BITCH!"

Although I loved how they place a more bigger role for Zack in ACC which balance him and Aerith's appearance in ACC. Not like before poor Zack had two...well actually I think three lines in the original, and was usually in the background while Aerith took almost all the credit.

We also can see more of the family relationship between Tifa, Cloud, Denzel, and Marlene. And I must agree that Cloud can be such a great dad, am I right?

Fight scenes are still the best especially when it comes down to the fight with Sephiroth, and also the downtown fight towards Midgar's ruins...where we get a bit of comedy relief with our favorite two turks, Reno and Rude.

I would rate this movie 8 out of 10 due to some minor changes on some scenes which I think should of stayed, and some dialogues that should have never changed!!!
